Meet Our Staff

The Maryland Therapy Network has helped children throughout Maryland since 1992, providing pediatric speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy services. The following individuals have played a major role in making our pediatric therapy practice a success. Want to join our therapy team?

Marie Noplock

Founder and President of The Maryland Therapy Network, Inc.

marie_noplock_bwMarie has more than three decades of experience helping children with disabilities lead more productive, fulfilling lives. After earning a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Virginia, Marie worked in schools, Head Start centers, nursing homes and hospitals. Through her years of experience, Marie realized that truly effective therapy requires a coordinated, multi-disciplinary approach and one-on-one attention.

In 1987, Marie expanded her solo speech-language pathology practice into a multi-disciplinary organization by employing both occupational and physical therapists. In 1992, she founded The Maryland Therapy Network, Inc., expanding her services again to treat children in infant and toddler programs. In 2002, she established the Children’s Center for Specialty Services, an outpatient clinic providing multidisciplinary pediatric therapy services in Bel Air, Md.

In addition to overseeing a growing business with more than 30 staff members, Marie has been a tireless advocate for patients’ right to insured habilitative and rehabilitative care. When she served as director of Governmental Affairs for the Maryland Speech-Language-Hearing Association, she helped secure hearing aid benefits and therapy services for Maryland’s economically disadvantaged children.

Marie’s many contributions on behalf of children, her profession, and her community have earned her recognition from Maryland-Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the YWCA of the Greater Baltimore Area, the National Association of Women Business Owners, and Maryland’s Top 100 Women.
